Load an entire family cookbook in one step from a JSON file.

Import a collection

Load a whole recipe file at once. Select a .json file exported in the app's recipe format. Existing favorites, view counts, and photos are preserved.

Expected format

A JSON array where each item has: id, title, category, ingredients[], steps[], notes[], baseServings, servingsKnown, source. Ingredient lines can include **Section** headers. Unknown categories will appear under Uncategorized.
